In September 2015 Ahr’s debut mixtape Lil Peep; Part One generated 4 thousand streams in its first week.
His release of single Starshopping in December of 2015 received 20 thousand streams within 24-hours and over 100 thousand in the first week, according to a statement made by his mother during the 2019 rerelease of the song.
The September 2016 release of Ahr’s final mixtape Hellboy received millions of streams. Shortly after, Ahr signed to First Access Entertainment Group under which he released his first studio album Come Over When You're Sober, Part 1 in August 2017.
Ahr went on an international tour for the album but his time was cut short due to a fatal overdose. Ahr was found on his tour bus in November 2017, fourteen days after his twenty-first birthday.
